Orthopedic acupuncture combines traditional theory with a modern understanding of anatomy, and leads to precise and very effective treatment of musculoskeletal pain.

Dr. Settels also uses adjunctive therapies such as cupping, guasha, or manual therapy as well.

Customized herbal prescriptions are particularly well-suited for treating chronic or complex conditions, such as autoimmune disorders, circulatory disorders, digestive disorders, neurological disorders, etc.

Light therapy (photobiomodulation) uses red light and near infra-red light to treat various conditions ranging from more cosmetic (such as wrinkles, acne, and hair loss) to more internal (such as pain and dementia).  It is safe, comfortable, and does not harm the skin.

His aim is to get patients out of pain and discomfort, and on a path of health and wellbeing.
